It all began with a book…
I was thirteen years old, rummaging through my grandmothers bookshelf for something to read. My hands eventually falling upon a large black, canvas bound book titled “The Book of Photography,” By John Hedgecoe. I remember being captivated by the images in the first few pages; a serene beach. A bare breasted “mermaid” being pawed at playfully by a cat. A forced perspective of two gentleman, one towering over the other like a giant. I had never seen anything like it. Before I realized it, I was halfway through the book. Images of fine art photography freshly imprinted in my mind. Suffice to say, I was hooked.
Fast forward nearly three decades, six camera bodies, dozens of lenses, and countless photos later, I still have that copy of John Hedgecoe’s book. The fires of creation still burning brightly in my mind.
My Goal…
Photography isn’t just some business exchange. It’s a relationship. Love and passion. A melding of visions to create something unique, beautiful, and meaningful. Every time I pick up may camera, I can feel that fire of passion and creativity ignite. It is my goal to share that passion and that creativity with the world. To show my vision.
